Self-Examination

We are born into a fallen world, we are born into the seed of Adam, which is corrupt and sinful. Until we are moved by the Holy Spirit to follow the election of God to be His children. When we are truly saved that corruptible seed of Adam is replaced with the incorruptible seed of God. We are recreated in our souls, it has been redeemed. We are given the Holy Spirit of God to be our Helper, our Advocate, and the power we need to still live in this fallen corrupted world. When we were saved we were justified, and now the rest of our time here and now is spent working out our salvation in sanctification. We are not alone, the Holy Spirit helps us.

We must examine ourselves, we must be honest with ourselves about ourselves.

We must allow the trials and tribulations of our daily lives be used to work out our salvation, and those trials and tribulations may also be working out the salvation of another person around you. We must let God be God, we must lean on Him and not on our own understanding.

We must never let our thoughts and ideas of God come from the world, or someone else's wrong interpretations or false teachers teaching false doctrine. Those of the world sit in the hands of the evil one and we know that Scripture tells us that all that satan can do is lie. He is the father of lies and the Truth is not in him.

Our thoughts of God should come from the Bible, that is His revealed Word. We must search the Scripture with prayer and thoughtfulness digging into the treasure that God supplied to us, so that we may know Him. To know Him inwardly, to praise Him because He is Holy, Sovereign, Gracious and Good. So those times we are going through trials and tribulations we can lean and press even deeper into Who He is, and not on our finite minds to understand everything about the situation we are in. Our finite minds can NOT reason out or logically understand everything there is to know about God's infinite mind. We are to trust and obey, leaning on Him as the Author of our Salvations, from beginning to end. He chose us before we were born, before we ever did one good or bad thing, He chose us by His Sovereign election and He will take us to the time we glorified in heaven with Him.

Consider examining yourself in the Light of the Truth of Gods Word and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is highly profitable for you to spend time in self examination, and stop picking apart others.
