Clay or Potter?

This question can be answered with continual self-examination. Are you trying to be what you think with your human reasoning what God expects? Or, are you allowing God to transform you into who He desires you to be?
Most Christians get in their own way, make sure to take time to examine yourselves, spend time in prayer and allow the Holy Spirit to transform you and make you what you need to be at each stage of your sanctification. Setting aside your thoughts or ideas of how to make what you want to happen, be a lump of clay and have faith and be grounded in the Word. God will transform you into what He has called you to be, He is faithful, stop getting in His way. Study His Word and allow Him to transform you so that you are changing to His standards, not your standards and certainly not the worlds.
The most peaceful and beautiful state is laying your life at the feet of Jesus, and allowing His will and setting aside your own will.
The standard is set forth in His Word, spend time in His Word and you will fall more and more in love with Him. Your flesh will not like it, but like Paul we must beat our flesh into submission, we must press on. Humbling yourself before God and spending time with Him, allows you as the lump of clay to be transformed into what God desires. And God only desires the best for His children. Even in trials and sufferings we are being refined as gold. The yoke of the world, or even your fleshly human reasoning is a burdensome and heavy load.
Jesus said, ""Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
Start today setting aside yourself, lay yourself at the feet of Jesus and watch what the Holy Spirit can do with a lump of clay!
